MOT

MOT, MOT, MOT...What means? I'm not sure, but it's about periodic car technical inspection. Each and every car here in Cyprus, every 2 years has to pass an exam...a tough one. Mine doesn't pass it anymore. And I am sooo sad, this fact just covered my whole mind. I need the MOT, I want the MOT as cheap as possible. I trusted my mechanic, I had my car serviced all the time only at his garrage since last year. Before I was changing oil and stuff only to ESSO Petrol Station...and the service was very good...I thought by bringing my car to a dedicated garrage I will take care of it a bit more...but today I realized it was worse. I don't know maybe he used cheap oil, maybe he did the work fast without care... Now, when the final day came, my car was so upset on me that it started burning oil and smoking out. The solution proposed by the mechanic is simple: "replace the engine". But I don't want this, I don't want to invest money in a '95 Mazda which I will be using 1, maximum 2 years from now. I just want the fucking MOT passed. So I became to praise Romania, the fucking sweet country where everything is possible. Just pay some money to the guy and get the inspection passed. Why can't I do the same here...because I am not the only one driving smoking car...and, by the way, my car goes perfectly on road, no smoke, good brakes, good direction, good music ;) ... only if I push the gas at the bottom then it starts smoking out. And this is one of the tests during MOT...damn it....and who is normally pushing the gas foot lever to the max... no one...so practically my car will not smoke on the road...and in fact it doesn't.
Monday I going to apply the same thing in Romania I would have done...Ask the guy: My friend, I give you 100 CYP, and today I want the MOT passed...let's see if it works...if it works then it means we are all the same, no matter of the nation. If it doens't then I guess I'll try the buss for a while....just because I don't want to spend my money on something which I will not be using soon. I wish me good luck and let's see if I will clean my brain of this MOT threads during Easter. I want to enjoy my familly during my short Easter trip to Romania as much as possible.
